Ann Gathright, born on December 16, 1943, in Richmond, VA, passed away peacefully on December 16, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Gathright, and her daughter, Michelle Walker Mann. Ann is survived by her daughter, Ruby Gathright-Smith, and her husband, Ron; her grandchildren, Jacob A. Smith and Eric R. Walker, and his wife, Kristina; her great-grandchildren, Noah and Emma; and her sister-in-law, Hilda Griggs. And special friends, Lil Brownie, Juana Mejia and Gertrude Schultz.
Ann was a dedicated member of Poplar Spring Church, serving as WMU Director, Women on Mission coordinator, and a member of the Ann Clark Circle. She was also actively involved in many community programs.
Friends are welcome at 11 a.m., with the service at noon on December 23rd at 5270 Charles City Rd, Richmond, VA 23231.
A private service will follow at her final resting place.
