Mr. Tyrone Hightower

A visitation for Tyrone will be held Thursday, April 24, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Fuller Funerals, 3100 Cutting Blvd, Richmond, CA 94804. A Celebration of his Life will occur Friday, April 25, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Fuller Funerals. The interment will be Private.

Mr. Tyrone Hightower, Sr. was born on October 28th, 1955 to the proud parents of Lloyd and Irma Hightower. As a child, Tyrone accepted Christ as his Savior. Tyrone was the last living child of five children that preceded him in death. Johnny Williams, Kevin Hightower, Bruce Bennie Hightower I, and his only sister Vanessa Hightower. Also preceding him in death, daughter Terra Lynn Hightower, nephew Kenny Hightower Jr., nephew James Hines, and niece Vienna Williams.

Tyrone attended schools in the Richmond Unified School District, being the baby boy of the bunch, he required a lot of attention. He stayed in trouble with his mouth, so his brothers would take him with them outside to sell candy to the neighborhood kids, where they grew up on 5th Street in Richmond, CA. To the family's surprise he had a knack for sales and grew in the business. His mom called him TY, short for Tyrone because he talked too fast and stuttered if he couldn't pronounce Tyrone properly. As an adult, Tyrone took his sales on the road city to city, state to state, country to country, enjoying life to the fullest with a smile on his face and a joke to be told. His favorite quote was, "it's TY better known as 'All My Life."

Tyrone said he was ready to accept God into his soul and ask to be forgiven for all his sin in the presence of a Chaplain.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories his sons - Tyrone Jr. of Houston, TX, De'Jon Lloyd James Hightower of Richmond, CA, Joshua Dunlap-Hightower of Phoenix, AZ, and his life mate, Annette McFarland. One grandchild, Kingston Hightower son of Tyrone, Jr.; sister-in-law, Beverly Hightower; nieces- Latonya, Tashawna, Sheila, and Tashena; great-niece, Robrea; nephews- Carnell Sr., Bruce II, and Reggie; great nephews- Deondre, Jhon (Mar Mar) and Lil' Carnell, Bruce III, Blake, and James, Jr.; a special sister, Denise Williams; best friend, Calvin E. Campbell (Cookie Boone); and a host of family and friends.
