A visitation for Jonathan will be held Thursday, February 1, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A funeral service will occur Friday, February 2, 2024 at 11:00 AM at WFG-Fuller Funerals, 3100 Cutting Boulevard, Richmond, California 94804. An interment will occur Friday, February 2, 2024 at Sunrise Memorial Park, 2201 Sacramento St., Vallejo, CA.
Jonathan C. White was born on May 9, 1972 in Oakland CA to proud parents, Lenail Vickers of Hope, Ar and the late John WHite.
Jonathan received the name "Buffie" when he was a kid because he was so buff. Jonathan accepted Christ early in his life and loved to attend church. He was a member of Bible Way Missionary Baptist Church located in Richmond, CA.
Jonathan had a love for sports. He loved to watch 49er games with his daughter and mother in love. He played football for the junior league, the Richmond Steelers and throughout high school at Richmond High School and briefly, Contra Costa College. He also loved to joke, play games, travel and good food.
for many years, Jonathan worked for Muller Construction Company in Richmond, CA until he found a love for truck driving. jonathan went out to receive his Class A license and started his own trucking company, "Willis Transports."
Jonathan will be forever cherished by many, as he departed the earthly version of himself on January 17th, 2024.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents who raised him from a young age: Cornelius and Nellie WIllis.
Jonathan is survived by his mother, Lenail Vickers, life partner Kizzie Spencer, daughters: Jovanna White, Johniya White and Karlaija Hardiamon-White; mother in "love", Bobbie Woolridge; a sister Shantenell (Tracy) Primus; uncles: Freddie McPherson, Jimmy Earl Cooper, Vincent Cooper, Demetrious Stewart, Deshawn Wells and Eric Willis; aunts, Deborah Cooper, Kesha McPherson; nephews, Prejean Hawkins and John Blade; and a host of cousins, extended family and friends.
