Ida Mae I knew her as a young woman she was the kindness person I have known. Although she had no children she view me and my siblings as her children. She was very devoted to her husband JL Johnson . I visited her many times at her Richmond home after moving from Rodeo. She was very devoted to the Church. One day God will remember the good she did and bring her back in the Resurrection at Revelation 21:3&4. “Death will be no more”

Dear Aunt Ida, thank you for your generosity and love. You were always kind to me. I loved your big  warm smile, sassy sense of humor, unwavering faith, high-heeled style, work ethic and your fried chicken. 
May you rest in power.

It's a surprise to learn of Aunt Ida Mae's homegoing, but we are thankful for her beautiful life and inspiring legacy.  She was a warm and friendly presence in our family.  We can now celebrate her life and rejoice that she has joined Uncle Puggie in the presence of our Lord.  My Mom has many memories of Aunt Ida Mae and good times they shared back in Louisiana.  I pray our family will grow stronger together and share the legacy of love left by our departed elders.    Much love,  Janie
