She is survived by her son, James Browning; two daughters, Donna Jean Otis and Natalie Zavala (Fernando); one sister, Lena Lanier; two brothers, Walter Daniel England and Arnold England; three grandchildren, Angela Otis Halsey, Michael Otis and Caroline Zavala and three great grandchildren.
Jean worked at Arnolds in Richlands for 18 years. She enjoyed gardening and collecting antique bottles and when she was able, walking on the beach to collect sea shells. She was a gentle soul, who spoke badly of no one. She always maintained her faith in the Lord, even until the end. She will be missed.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at 1 p.m. in Onslow Memorial Park.
