Linda Basden Rand

Linda was born in Lenoir Co., NC on May 24, 1950 to William and Viola Basden who preceded her. She was also preceded in death by her husband: Daniel Murrill Rand; brothers: R.C. Baysden, Dennis Basden, James Basden.

Linda Basden Rand and her husband were co-owners of the Rand Oil Co.

A Funeral Service will be Saturday, March 10, 2012 at Johnson Funeral Home Chapel, Richlands at 7:00 p.m. with Reverend Ranzer Horne officiating. Burial will be Sunday, March 11, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Rand Cemetery.

She is survived by her brother: Bill Baysden and wife Evelyn of Beulaville, NC; sister-in-law: Sarah Baysden; sisters: Shelby Jean Maples and husband Ray of Beulaville, NC, Gladys Melton and husband Jerry of Orange Park, Fla.; nieces and nephews: Sally Jo Hughes, Brenda Futrell, Randy Baysden, Sandy Garcia, Billie Jo Watkins, Susan Jacobs, Bill Baysden, Jr., Kim Espino, Amy Maples.

The family will receive friends following the service on Saturday.
