Very sorry to Hear Joe had passed Joe became dear Friend's with my family when he served I&I duty at Fort Des Moines with my Dad my dad and brothers spent a lot of time with Joe Fishing Hunting or just hanging out I also served in the Navy in San Diego while Joe was stationed up in Camp Pendleton and I believe 29 Palms we hung out together a lot during those years too many adventures to remember he was like a big brother to me and I will never forget him your family has my deepest sympathy Joe never knew a stranger and would help anyone in need and that’s not an understatement a great patriot who loved this country He will be sorely missed by anyone that has ever known him 

Joe was my Platoon Sgt. When I was a young Marine. I'll miss him. God rest him and keep him.

Semper Fi Gunny.  You were a good man and Marine.   I will always remember fishing with you in SC.  

GySgt Marty and I were stationed together in the mid 70s at Camp Pendleton. He was there when one of my sons was born and was around seeing my sons growing up. He even took them out camping when they were older and the kids had a great time with him and still to this day they still remember the great times they had with Uncle Joe. We will all miss him very much. I pray for the family going through this tough time.

GySgt Marty and I were stationed together in the mid 70s at Camp Pendleton as Corporals.  Joe & I enjoyed working with Southern California Off-road Racing Enterprises and making trips to Mexico.  Over the years we lost contact, and then regained them.   As far a I feel, we are brothers with a bond that only Marines know exist.  I know Joe's in a better place and has had all of his pain removed.  I pray for the family during this tough period and wish them the best.  Semper Fi my beloved friend 

GySgt Marty thank you for everything during  your time as my Company Gunny!! My time on active duty as a Marine on your watch especially during our deployment to Okinawa in 1992 was by far what every Marine hopes for!! Work Hard!!! Play Hard! Semper Fi,
