She attended the Red Barn Church in Richlands.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, February 7, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Red Barn Church, Richlands with Reverend Mike Jarman officiating.
She is survived by her husband: J.R. Canady; son: Johnie Rockford Canady, Jr. and wife Andrea of Charlotte; daughters: Regina Hartley and husband Terry of Boone, NC, Sherry Canady of Raleigh; seven grandchildren: Eric Midkiff, Steven Midkiff, Ryan Hartley, Morgan Bennett, Erin Canady, Jade Canady, Grace Canady; two great grandchildren: Valerie Midkiff, Zoey Midkiff.
The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
