James Pee Wee Elbert Jones

He served in the United States Marine Corp where he did a tour in Vietnam. Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his parents: Robert and Julie Jones; brothers: Robert “Buddy” Jones, Dennie Earl Jones; sisters: Helen “Shine” Miller, Shirley “Dot” Melton.

A Funeral Service will be at Johnson Funeral Home Chapel, Richlands at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 9, 2012 with Reverend Tom Penny officiating.

He is survived by his daughter: Tina Marie Beddard and husband Chris of Pink Hill; brothers: William “Boogie” Jones of Pink Hill, Clifton “Sammy” Jones of Richlands; sisters: Doris “Pete” Jones of Richlands, Julie “Doodle” Jones of Richlands, Margie King of Pollocksville, Mae Southard of Potters Hill, Minnie Pearl Thompson of Kinston, Jane Pate of Kinston; grandchildren: Christopher Beddard Jr., Austin Beddard, Madison Beddard, Logan Beddard, and many nieces and nephews. He also had many "adopted" grandchildren, whom he loved all the same.

The family will receive friends from 7-9:00 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home, Richlands on Sunday, January 8, 2012.
