In Loving Memory of Brenda Joyce Jensen (Tripp) September 27, 1950 - January 4, 2018 Brenda J. Jensen (Tripp) passed away peacefully on January 4, 2018 at the University of Minnesota hospital after a very short battle with Cancer. She is survived by her father and step mom, Donald and Mary Tripp; son, Kelly Jensen; daughter and daughter in law, Jeri and Katie Kane; 2 grandsons, Connor Jensen and Jack Oswald; granddaughter, Jordan Jensen; brother, Donald Tripp; sister, Pam Claussen; countless friends; an unmeasurable number of “adopted” daughters, sons, and grandchildren; multiple granddogs and grandcats; her partners on stage and in theater merriment; a million hidden flamingos - keep your eyes out for them; and most importantly, Bitzy aka Bitty, aka Boo Boo, Aka Boo Kitty. Her smile, laughter, song, love, flare for the dramatic, Maxine worthy attitude, and her unwavering need to protect and support those she held dear will remain with us forever. There will be two celebrations of her and her life, one in Minnesota and one in IowaThursday, January 11, 2018 from 6:00-9:00 pm at American Legion, 14521 Granada Dr. Apple Valley, MN 55124 and Saturday, January 13, 2018 from 6:30-9:00 pm at American Legion, 1301 South 6th St., Marshalltown, IA 50158 We have set up a Go Fund Me to cover medical expenses.
