She was born in Lampasas, Texas on October 27, 1951. Vickie graduated from Richardson High School and received Master of Religious Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
She was married to Monte Blanchett on February 14, 1988.
Vickie retired as a staff member of Richland Baptist Church.
Vickie is preceded in death by her father, Robert Melton “Mitch” Miles; brother John Paul Miles; and sister, Deborah Ruth Burch.
She is survived by her husband, Monte Glenn Blanchett; mother, Barbara Ruth Ellsworth, and step-father, Bruce Ellsworth; daughter Angela Scott (James); daughter April Shuffield (Gavin); grandson, Noah Scott; brother Robert Miles (Cindy); brother Mark Miles; and brother-in-law, Tom Burch.
Funeral arrangements will be held at 2:00PM, November 25, 2017, at Lake Pointe Church, Richland Campus at 1601 Buckingham Road, Richardson, Texas 75081.
