Tam Tran

Tam Tran, a caring and loving father, husband, brother, uncle, and son, passed away on March 4th, after a long and heroic fight with cancer. He demonstrated incredible strength and will during his battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Thuong. He is also survived by his 7 adult children and his 10 brothers and sisters. Tam is predeceased by his parents, and his daughter who died in infancy.

The family would especially like to thank Dr. Nghi Phan of Methodist Richardson Medical Center and to the incredible critical care staff of United Regional Hospital for their devoted care and support during his final days.

Visitation will begin on Friday, March 8, 2019, from 9:00am-8:00pm with a Prayer Service at 4:00pm. Additional Visitation will be on Saturday, March 9, 2019, 9:00am-5:00pm with a Prayer Service at 5:00pm. The Final Visitation will be on Sunday, March 10, 2019, from 9:00am-2:00pm. All services will be held at Sparkman Funeral Home Chapel of Richardson. Tam will be laid to rest in Vietnam near his family home at a later date. Memorial contributions can be made to Ty Tran at the funeral service in lieu of flowers.
