Rachel Elizabeth Breland

Rachel Elizabeth Breland, 26, of Dallas TX, passed away on May 16, 2013 peacefully at home of brain cancer. She was born May 14, 1987 in Mount Pleasant TX and moved to Dallas at age one. Rachel was the daughter of James E and VL (Boots) Sellers Breland of Dallas TX. She graduated from JJ Pearce High School in 2005 in Richardson TX, attended the University of Arkansas and graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2009. She moved to Denver CO after graduation and worked for the Salvation Army and the Colorado Rapids.

Preceded in death were her grandparents, James E Sr and Annie Maude Breland of Birmingham AL and H Leon and Helen M Dallos Sellers of Ashdown AR and uncle Andrew L Sellers of Ashdown AR. She leaves behind, brother, Nicholas A Breland and sister, Emily M Breland of Dallas TX. Uncles and aunts , Ronnie and Maudie Breland Ryan, Tim and Janet Breland Smith of Hoover AL and Steve and Traci Breland of Madison Al. Cousins Brad Ryan of Chicago IL, Mark and Amanda Ryan of Kerrville Tx, Anna Veitch and Matt Veitch of Hoover AL, Wes Breland and Beth Ann Breland of Madison AL. And many other great uncles, aunts, and cousins in AL, AR, and PA.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 19, 2013 from 4-6pm in Sparkman Funeral Home, 1029 S. Greenville Ave., Richardson, TX 75081. Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 20, 2013 at 4pm at First United Methodist Church of Richardson, 503 N. Central Expressway, Richardson, TX 75080, with a reception to follow. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at 11:00am in Ashdown Cemetery, Peyton Ave. Ashdown, Arkansas 78122.
