

Marjorie or “Monk” ,“Marge”, and “Gammie” as she was known to her family and friends grew up in Bollington England and Australia. At 27 she traveled on vacation to Canada and California and never left after meeting and marrying Kenneth Lockhart Sr, an officer in the United States Air force. She traveled the world with her husband and family throughout the years before finally settling in the Dallas area. She was a wife, mother, Realtor, knitting expert and “Mom Lockhart” too many throughout her life.
She loved traveling and in recent years very much enjoyed traveling to the waterways of Germany and the beaches of Puerto Rico. She was a great cook and loved to have big dinners to celebrate life with her family and friends. She passionately followed her favorite Tennis and Golf players and the Dallas Stars. She loved watching cooking shows on Saturdays and the TV show NCIS. She was a huge fan. She also loved violinist and music conductor Andre Rieu. She loved her “Fur-babies” Jessie & Ella more than life itself.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Lockhart Sr. Her parents, Mark and Hilda Blower, her brothers Horace Blower and Geoffrey Blower . She is survived by her children Katherine Lockhart and Kenneth “Woody” Lockhart Jr, her cousin Eric Wainwright of Bollington, England and numerous friends.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2013 at 2pm at the Dallas/Ft. Worth National Cemetery.
