Margaret LaVaughn Springer

Margaret Springer was born April 8, 1922 in Dumas, AR and passed away at the age of 88 on September 23, 2010. She was a resident of Richardson, TX for almost 40 years and was active in the Estates North Garden Club and the Richardson Book Reviewers Club.

Margaret was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, William A. (Bill) Springer, who passed away in 2000 and infant son William A. Springer Jr. She is survived by her son, Don Springer; daughter, Sherry Harper; grandchildren Will and Jessica Springer, Matt Harper and Holly Harper Davis; twin great-granddaughters, Kaitlyn and Lauren Davis.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM, Monday, September 27, 2010 and the funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at 11:00 a.m., both at Sparkman Funeral Home. Burial will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at DFW National Cemetery in Dallas.
