It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Emmanuel "Mannie" Kihato, also known as Motherland, who left us on June 30, 2024. Born on August 17, 1988, in Nairobi, Kenya. Mannie's life was a testament to passion, love, and dedication.

Mannie began his educational journey in Kenya, attending primary school up to the 6th grade. In December 2000, at the age of 12, he emigrated with his family to Denton, TX. He attended Calhoun Middle School, where he became a part of the football team, and later, Denton High School, where he discovered a love for basketball. It was during his 10th grade year that he found his true passion in automotive technology, pursuing classes in the discipline through his senior year.
Mannie attended Texas State Technical College (TSTC) in Waco on a full scholarship from the Toyota Tech 10 Program, graduating in 2009 with an associates degree in automotive technology. While at TSTC, his enthusiasm for motorcycles was ignited, leading him to join the Ruff Ryder Nation and become a founding member of the Waco Ruff Ryders Chapter.
In 2009, Mannie met his loving wife, Ashley, in Waco. Their relationship blossomed, and they began dating in 2010. Their shared love for cars, motorcycles, and travel strengthened their bond. They became engaged in August 2011 and married shortly thereafter in September 2011. Mannie furthered his education by earning an associate degree in Business Management at Collin College in 2011.
In 2012, Mannie crossed over to the Outcast Motorcycle Club, where he was affectionately known as Motherland. In 2014, he completed his first cross-country trip with Ashley, as known as Nairobi, by his side. The couple bought their first home together in Richardson, Texas, in 2015. They celebrated their 6th wedding anniversary in 2017 with a full wedding ceremony and reception, followed by a long awaited honeymoon to Hawaii.
Mannie's Passions extended beyond motorcycles to include anything automotive, technology, and finance. He excelled in creating customized audio systems for bikes, investing in and growing their retirement funds, and planning for the future. He was always eager to share his knowledge, educating anyone he met about finances, bikes, or technology.
In May 2024, Mannie and Ashley received the joyous news that they were expecting their first child. Mannie touched the lives of many through his various interests and the deep, caring heart he had for everyone he knew.
