 We were very saddened to learn of Lee's passing.  We were truly blessed to have Lee and Anne at Central United Methodist Church during their time in Brownwood.  They were such dedicated Christians and served our church with love and concern.  We have truly missed them and send our condolences to Anne and the family.

During my teenage years, i attended Casa Linda Methodist Church.  There was a fairly large group of teens active in MYF at the time.  Lee Bedford was pastor then and had a wonderful, positive way of leading us in the Lord's way and was probably one of the main reasons we teens had the church as our anchor in life.  He was a great pastor because he was one of the congragation in spirit and grace and down-to-earth enjoyment of life.  Deepest sympathy, Diane Hetherington Lewton

I never met Lee Bedford, but my dear aunt Adelyn played piano for the Lee Bedford class at Casa Linda UMC.  She was an original member ther. aunt Adelyn felt like Lee Bedford was an incredible pastor and peacher.  She and I used to sing for her class.  She would play piano & sing alto and I would sing soprano.  Those were some of the most delightful times I had in church.

Lee Bedford , I'm sure, has a host of angels welcoming him in to heaven and aunt Adelyn will be right there!!!   God bless him.

We have such warm memories of his warm and compassionate ministry at Bedford Methodist.  He was truly a wonderful pastor and friend.  Our prayers are with you for comfort and peace.

I was young when Pastor Bedford was at FUMC Bedford, but I still have such fond memories of him! He meant so much to my family when we were on the mission field in the Philippines. He had such a compassionate spirit. I know He is loving his time with Jesus right now!

Lee has held a special place in my heart since I was three! How special it was when he took his Christmas vacation to come to Phoenix in 1969 to officiate at our wedding. He was there for our family at weddings and funerals, and he always seemed to know the perfect thing to say. He was a very special man! Our prayers and thoughts are with our cousins.

Lee was our pastor during the early years of our marriage at Walnut Hill UMC. We are forever grateful for his ministry to us. He will live on as one who truly touched our lives with the love of Jesus.  Bless you family as you walk the grief days ahead~

2 Timothy 4:7-8 "I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them that love his appearing".

A purpose driven life has left a legacy and the world is one Saint short but the work of Christ in Mr. Bedford's life shall go on.

My love and heart go out to you for the loss of your husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, pastor and friend. I am sad for your loss and your grief, yet inspired by the fact that a man who touched so many with God's word is now able to be with our Lord. God bless you.

The word that best describes Lee to us is JOY.  He was one of those rare people that you instantly love.  
We first met Lee when my husband, Dave was undergoing tests in the hospital.  Lee came and stayed with me during the wait. His calm, easy-going, funny demeanor made the waiting easier.  Lee later came to Dave’s men’s group and they became friends. 
Dave and I are so sad that we will not see Lee at Church or Men’s group, but look forward to the day when we can hug him and laugh with him again.  Mrs. Anne, we will continue to lift you up in prayers as you go through this difficult grieving process.  Please let us know if we can do anything at all for you or your family.  Our love to you,

Thank you for sharing the time/life of Reverend Bedford with me, my family, and so obviously thousands more. He lives on in the thoughts and actions of every person he touched.

Lee was one who I remember for his help and encouragement in getting a strong mission program going in Garland. He also helped many of our young People.GOD Bless you.

Lee’s camaraderie and shared passion of trains will be missed at APN.  Though we only knew Lee for a relatively short while he left behind pleasant memories that we will cherish. Our sincerest condolences to all of his family.
