Helen Elaine Bell

1931-2020

BELL, Helen 88, passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2020. She was born on August 19, 1931 in Elgin, IL to Evah L. (Kidd) and Roy M. Yonce. Helen moved to Texas in 1952, where she raised her family. She was a long-time Registered Nurse, Healthcare Volunteer, and former Hospital Administrator. She enjoyed many years of volunteering in the Youth Department at First United Methodist Church as well as the Easter Seals and H.E.R.O.E.S. programs, both of which supported children with special needs.

She is survived by her son, Randy Bell & his wife Cindy of Frisco; daughter, Patti Stewart of Richardson; and son, Rick Bell & his wife Jana of Richardson. She was a Grandmother to Shannon Bell Denniston (Daren); Erin Bell Jeter (Scott); Matt Bell (Alyssa); Nena Ballas; Haley Ballas Harwood (Patrick); Michelle Stewart Mathis (Steven); Alex Stewart; and her Great Grandchildren Landen & Conner Denniston, and Cyrus & River Bell. She is also survived by her sister, Carole Stephens, of Atlanta, as well as many extended family and friends.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, July 17th at 10:00 AM at First United Methodist Church, in Richardson. The Service will be for designated family only, but a Live-Stream of the Service will be available for others to attend virtually at www.fumcr.com/live . A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a future date to be determined.
