Hailey Nicole Perkins, beloved child of God, passed away November 6, 2021, after bravely living with cancer since February 2018. Hailey was born May 11, 1995, to Rebecca Perkins and Bryan Perkins. She attended McKinney ISD schools and graduated from McKinney High School in 2013. She earned an associate degree online from Southern New Hampshire University while working fulltime in apartment management and later HOA management where she received many promotions, earned certification as a CMCA® (Certified Manager of Community Associations) and an AMS® (Association Management Specialist), and ultimately became a Director of Management at VCM, Inc.
Relying on inspiring strength and determination, sarcastic wit and a fabulous smile, Hailey did not let cancer define the last years of her life. She continued to live and love life to the fullest. Generous in spirit and easy to laugh, Hailey enjoyed time spent talking and laughing with family and friends, exploring the outdoors, especially the mountains of Colorado, rescuing dogs and any outing that included Mexican food.
For all who loved her, Hailey has left a hole in our hearts that can never be filled. Hailey was preceded in death by her aunt Dorothy Davey. Hailey is survived by her parents Rebecca Perkins and Bryan Perkins, brother Davis Perkins, grandparents JoAn McNabb and Harry and Lea Perkins, uncle Scott Davis and wife Wendy, uncle Alden Davis, wife Jacqueline, and cousin Taylor Davis, uncle Sean Davey and cousins Lauren and Madison Davey, and aunt Deena Perkins, husband Madison Jechow, and cousins Brooks and Bryce Perkins-Jechow. Hailey also leaves behind a loving and devoted boyfriend, Dylan Briggs, and his son Josh, and five beloved dogs, Diesel, Hank, Tip, Frankie and Daisy.
The family wishes to thank T. Boone Pickens Hospice Center staff for their loving care and kindness. It was Hailey’s wish to be cremated and have her ashes spread in Estes Park, Colorado. That wish will be fulfilled this coming June. A memorial service to honor Hailey’s memory will be held on January 15, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Sparkman Funeral Home, 1029 South Greenville Avenue, Richardson, Texas 75081.
For those who wish to pay their respects to Hailey’s memory with a gift, the family asks that you consider a donation to Operation Kindness to help others continue pursuing Hailey’s love for rescuing dogs.
