David Scott was born February 27, 1971, in Dallas, TX to John Ronald and Sandra Jane Byland. The youngest of four children. He was someone that was always willing to help someone in need. He tried to come off like a big tough guy but he was really a kind hearted teddy bear. He started a career in printing young and then joined the Army in his thirties. During his time in service he was stationed at FT Hood and went overseas to Iraq. He was blessed to find the love of his life, Liz, while they were both serving. His last occupation was working in lumber and hardware which he really enjoyed being able to help customers and coworkers alike. He loved his children, Amanda, Katy, David, and Maddi, as well as his step children, Levi and Skylir, deeply. He loved riding his Harley even towards the end he still tried to ride even though it was very difficult. In his final year he was overjoyed to have purchased a home in Oklahoma where his youngest daughter would have a safe place to grow up and be close to family.
He is survived by his dad, Ron; siblings, Steve, Stephanie, Sean and their spouses; wife, Liz; daughters, Amanda, Katy, and Maddi; son, David; step sons, Levi and Skylir; grandchildren, Hallie, Aden, and Rylan;
He was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra; and granddaughter, Ashlyn.
