Charles A. Tucker was born in Mount Pleasant, TX on February 22, 1925 and passed away in Plano, TX on April 2, 2011. A beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, he will be remembered for both his life as well as the life he gave to and shared with others. Charles is survived by his wife of 60 years, Myra J. Tucker; three sons, Tommy and wife, Brenda, Ronnie and wife, Janie, and Sammy Tucker; one daughter, Cheree Tucker-Bates and husband, Ronnie; six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren as well as numerous other relatives and close friends. Charles will be greatly missed by all who knew him. A visitation with friends and family will be held at Sparkman Funeral Home on Monday, April 4th from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Funeral service for Mr. Tucker will be held at the Canyon Creek Baptist Church of Richardson on Tuesday, April 5th at 10:00 am followed by interment at Restland Memorial Park.
