Bruce Anthony Viola, 65, of Grand Prairie, passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2021. He was born on August 11, 1955, in Bridgeport, Connecticut to the late Vincent & Louise (Eddie) Viola. Bruce had a big, pleasant personality. He was loving and kind to everyone he met. He enjoyed going to the gym and swimming.
Bruce is survived by his wife, Hazel Okoli of Grand Prairie; brother, James Viola of Eureka Springs, Arkansas; aunt, Bernadette Silva of Bridgeport, CT; nieces, Kelsey of Texas, Lindsay of California, and Tiffany of Nevada; nephew, Jeremy & Cory of Texas; stepchildren, Vicki Johnon, Jeff Alexander, Robert Alexander, Felicia Jackson; step-grandchildren, Kevin, Jovonna, Jatynia, and Jariana; step-great-granddaughter, Candice Johnson; and sister-in-law, Lovie Garcia of Dallas.
A committal service will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at 2pm at Sacred Heart Cemetery, 3900 Rowlett Rd., Rowlett, TX 75088. Sparkman Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
