Barbara Ann Lawrence

Barbara Ann Lawrence, age 73, passed away peacefully June 20, 2020 at Methodist Richardson Hospital. She was born in Houston, Texas on February 11, 1947 to William H. Griffin and Melba Griffin Bozant. She graduated from North Shore High School in 1965 and went on as a proud Lumberjack to attend Stephen F. Austin University. Her favorite hobby was Tournament Bridge and she attained the coveted rank of Life Master in 1987. Those left to cherish Barbara’s memory: husband, Jay Lawrence; children, Jennifer D. Hunter, Amy Marie Matzusak, Joshua Griffin Lawrence; step-daughter, Amber Caitlyn Mann; grandchildren, Jacob Hunter Antkowiak, Logan Michael Antkowiak, Ethan James Antkowiak, James Alexander Eisenbeck, Adam Hunter Eisenbeck, Tucker Dean Lawrence, and Brody Lee Lawrence; sister, Dhi Good; brother, Danny Griffin; as well as many nephews and nieces. Barbara was proceeded in death by: step-daughter, Meredith Leigh Lawrence; and granddaughter, Alyssa Lawrence.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 27th at 1 pm. Interment to follow at Restland Cemetery.
