Ann Pope Wilson

She was born in Moorhead, Mississippi on October 20, 1926 to the late, S.G. and Laticia Pope. Ann graduated from Mars Hill High School and attended Southeastern Louisiana University.

She was married to Charles W. Wilson on May 11, 1945.

Ann had a wonderful and fulfilling career as a secretary and legal assistant for various organizations, such as: Baylor University, First Baptist Church of Hammond, LA, and the Baptist Endowment Firm in Dallas, TX. She was a faithful member to her church, First Baptist Church of Richardson. Cornerstone Baptist Ministries of Dallas is where Christ chose for her to use her gifts with an unwavering passion.

She is survived by her children, Sandra Byrd Flowers, Deborah Panico Moran, and Charles W. Wilson. Grandchildren, Jonathan Wilson, Joel Wilson, Joshua Wilson, Cara Panico, Christopher Byrd, and Abigail Wilson; and great-grandchild, Nora Grace Wilson. She is also survived by her youngest sister Betty Pope Brock.

She was preceded in death by siblings S. G. Pope, Jr., Charles Pope, Major Pope, Ruth Pope Lawrence and Robbie Pope Butler who, along with their parents, greeted Ann in Heaven.

Funeral Services will begin at 12:00 PM, on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at First Baptist Church of Richardson, TX. The Church is located at 1001 N. Central Expy, Richardson, TX 75080. The Church can be reached by phone at 972.235.5296.
