Shirley Anne Jude

The Jorgensens relocated to the Seattle area in 1945 eventually settling in Renton (Skyway), Washington. Shirley lived in Renton for the rest of her days. Shirley graduated from Renton High School in 1952 and married her high school sweetheart Sid Jude on February 28, 1953. The Jude’s began their family shortly after.

Shirley was a dedicated homemaker, a staunch family advocate and, among other interests, was active in the JayCees, VFW Club, and Renton High Alumni Association. Shirley loved people, loved to travel, and loved to host parties - everyone was always welcome at her house. She had a way of making everyone feel welcome and comfortable. No holiday, birthday, or other special occasion went by without a celebration at her house!

Besides her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by husband Sid Jude, sister Irene Borgan, and partner Ken Storm. She is survived by son Kenneth (Roxane) Jude, Daughter Kerri (Dennis) Fenton; grandchildren Amy (Chris) Ferland, Dane (Brittany) Fenton, and Kevin (Kaelyn) Jude; six great grandchildren, nephew John Crosby, and long-time partner John Stenslie.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00pm Friday, January 20th at Greenwood Memorial Park and Funeral Home. Reception to follow.
