Robin was an amazing person. She lived her life with lots of adversity, but faced all of it with grace. Robin was born in San Diego, California, April 2nd 1969. Shortly after Robin was born the family moved back to Oregon. It became evident at an early age that she suffered from Cerebral Palsy, and had some paralysis on the right side of her body. She faced many doctor appointments and several surgeries at very young age. Through it all she faced it with Courage and Grace.
When Robin was in the third grade the family moved to Crescent Lake, Oregon. Robin attended Gilchrist Oregon schools and graduated from her senior class as Salutatorian.
Robin graduated from Southern Oregon University, in Ashland, Oregon. After graduating she eventually went to work for XO Communications. While at XO in Portland, Oregon, Robin met her future husband, Derek Webb. Derek was moved to the Plano, TX office of XO, so Robin soon found a way to get transferred to Plano.
In October of 2002, Robin suffered a life threatening brain aneurysm. The doctors saved her life, and gave her almost exactly 13 years of good life. In October 2015, the aneurysm returned.
Robin is survived by her husband, Derek Webb, parents Robert and Joan Rist, her brother Douglas Rist and four nephews, Julian, Brennan, Aidan and Alaric Rist. She is also survived by her Aunts and Uncles, Dean & Louise Crittenden, and Rita and Randy Rist. Also survived by numerous cousins.
