The role of the workmen has been called and once again a fallen Brother has failed to answer when his name was announced. No sound of metal on stone comes from the quarry as the Craftsman mourn his loss, their tools lie quiet and still.

Our Worshipful Brother Bob was a faithful member of our Lodge for 58 ½ years. He served the Lodge as an Officer 10 times. While he was still working, he wasn’t active Masonically, but when he retired he began to attend Ark Lodge Coffee Hour on Wednesdays, and from that Mike Shafa wheedled him into being our Jr. Deacon. He stayed active and served as our Master in 2012 when he was 81 years old. He served as Chairman of the Building Association for many years
Bob served in the United States Army for 8 years and returned home to Washington State to work for the Boeing Company for many years. He took assignments and worked in many different states and locations where the company had facilities. He retired in 1995 to his home in Renton, Washington with his wife Kaye. They had 4 sons and Bob had a daughter from a previous marriage. He was from a family of nine siblings. He was a lover of life and a lot of fun to be around, always up for a cup of coffee and some doughnuts with conversation that might lead anywhere. He will be missed.
He is survived by a host of family, friends, and Brothers wherever he passed through this veil of tears called life. He left this world on November 12, 2021, to travel to a better place, to meet his loved ones, and be united once again. Rest in peace Dear Brother.
