Mrs Nettie "Nicky" Mae Jourdan

Nettie Mae 'Nicky' Powers Jourdan, 1928-2010.

Wonderful Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Friend. Born in Kentucky, raised in East Wenatchee, WA. Married Roy H. Jourdan, Jr on August 17, 1947. They moved to Seattle, WA, shortly thereafter where they lived until her passing on December 19, 2010. During these 63 years, while raising four children, son Roy Jourdan III, Nickie Richey, Edda Reiman and Lisa Young; she was very active socially in community groups from garden clubs, benevolent and charitable organizations; her favorite being Daughters of the Nile where she participated in Pageantry Unit for over twenty years. Survivors include her husband, Roy, her 4 children, 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Memorial service will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 8, 2011, at Greenwood Memorial Park Funeral Home, 350 Monroe Ave. NE, Renton, WA, 98056. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pageantry Unit, Daughters of the Nile. Kindly mail to Roy Jourdan at P.O.
