Mary Magdalene Anderson

Mary attended Sacred Heart Orphanage (Villa Convent) from 1926 to 1937 and also Immaculate & Broadway High Schools and she was also a member of Holy Family Parish in White Center. She was a member of the Solidarity of Mary, West Seattle American Legion Post 160 and a former member of the White Center Eagles #2568. Mary loved many sports and bowled in several leagues out of Majic Bowl.

Mary worked at Boeing for 24 years as a NC Operator and Riveter and she retired in 1981. She was also a member of the Aero Machinist Union Local 751 for over 55 years.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Helen Agnes Mriglot and Daniel Lewis Anderson, Sr. and her twin sister, Martha Helen Anderson. She is survived by her brother, Daniel Anderson, Jr.; daughter, Sharon (Ron) Shinkle; granddaughter, Theresa (Mike) Watson; great granddaughter, Tawnee Systad-Hall; and numerous cousins.

A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, May 22, 2015 at 1:00pm at Greenwood Memorial Park in Renton, Washington.

Mary’s family wishes to extend their deep gratitude to her caregivers Amy and Eileen at Frances Adult Family Home in Des Moines, WA.
