Kevin Mark Holmberg

Kevin Holmberg of Seattle, was born on 5/05/1955 in Renton, WA. He died Tuesday, September 14th, 2010 due to an accident while working on a piece of property he owned in the east Renton area. Kevin grew up in Maple Valley, WA and later moved to Seattle as an adult. He worked as a mechanic and welder for many years on the Seattle Waterfront doing maintenance and repair on containers and other mechanical equipment. After taking an early retirement, in 2009, he enjoyed working on many outdoor projects for friends, neighbors, and at his property. Kevin is survived by his wife, Gloria, and two daughters, Carly and Megan, his parents, Henry and Lillian Holmberg of Dayton, WA, sisters Susan Holmberg of Seattle, Mindy Marcum of Tacoma, Mary Latson of Dayton WA, and brothers, Lars of Issaquah, Eric of Spokane, and Nathan of Dayton, WA. A private viewing will take place from 1-8pm on Wednesday, September 22nd at Greenwood Memorial Park and Funeral Home, with funeral services to be held on Thursday, September 23rd at 2:00 pm at Highlands Community Church in Renton, 3031 NE 10th St. A graveside service will follow at nearby Greenwood Memorial Park. A Memorial Reception will be held at the Highlands Community Church immediately following the burial.
