The couple married in First UCC in Reading on June 29, 1963 and shared 52 years of marriage together. Born in Reading on May 15, 1931, Tom was a son of the late Antonio Sr. and Florence (Mack) Talarigo.
Tom was a U.S. Army veteran and served during the Korean War. He was employed with Modern Handling and Fortner Bros. as an industrial equipment mechanic.
In retirement, he worked for his neighbor at the American Military Weaponry Museum in Intercourse. While there he refurbished guns and knives for the museum. In his younger years, he worked for his father roofing and working on cars. He liked to take his '56 Ford to race at the old Fairgrounds track. He really enjoyed his '65 Ford Mustang and '69 Ford Fairlane. Tom liked to go hunting, bowling and travel to the casinos.
In addition to his wife, Lois, Tom is survived by two brothers, Antonio Talarigo Jr. and his wife, Mary Lou, of Reading, and Albert Talarigo and his wife, Bernetta, of Vinemont; a sister, Grace (Talarigo) Wessner of Reading; nieces; nephews; great-nieces; great-nephews and cousins. Also surviving is a sister-in-law, Helen (Borelli), and Kenneth Fisher of Sinking Spring.
Tom is predeceased by a brother, Joseph Talarigo, and his wife, Emily C. (Amos) Talarigo.
