Thomas Edward Lush, 90, of Mohnton, passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2015, in Reading Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was the loving husband of Clara E. (Sabol) Lush. Born in Reading on March 2, 1925, he was a son of the late Frank and Clara (Kline) Lush.
Thomas was U.S. Marine veteran and served in WWII. State side, Thomas was first employed with Sunshine Brewing Co. and then with Glidden Paint as a truck driver.
In addition to his wife, Clara, Thomas is survived by three children: Cindy A. (Lush) Jenne and her husband, Larry, of Millsboro, DE; Thomas D. Lush and his wife, Lauren, of Plowville; and Susan M. (Lush) Yerger of Sinking Spring; four grandchildren: Rebekah C. Lush; Melissa S. (Lush) Landrigan and her husband, Sean; James E. Yerger; and Rachel A. Yerger; and a sister, Jean E. (Lush) Maurer. He is predeceased by three brothers: John, Ralph and Ronald Lush and two sisters, Catherine (Lush) Lombardo and Darlene (Lush) Wagner.
Services for Thomas will be Monday, June 8, 2015, at 11 a.m. in Auman's Inc. Funeral Home, 390 W. Neversink Rd., Reiffton. Family and friends will be received in the funeral home on Monday from 10 to 11 a.m. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reiffton.
