Ralph A. Hess, 79, formerly of Sinking Spring, passed away on December 14, 2020 at Fairlane Gardens Nursing & Rehabilitation of Reading. Born in Reading, PA on March 27, 1941, he was the son of the late Morris H. Hess Sr. and Kathryn R. Rohrbach.
Ralph was employed at TRS Workshop until he retired in 2015. Afterwards, he decided to attend Ageless Harmony, where he enjoyed spending time with his friends while working on different crafts and activities until March 2020.
Ralph left a lasting impression on everyone he encountered with his bright smile and sense of humor. Ralph’s laugh was contagious.He was sweet, kind, and loving. Ralph always enjoyed looking his best and getting dressed up for special occasions.
Ralph is predeceased by his brother and parents. Ralph is survived by his aunt, Betty Rohrbach, of Hamburg; sister Janice R. Hess, of Reading; cousins: Larry Kummerer, of Reading and Marie Eddinger, of Florida. He is also survived by his loving friends, supports team, and Threshold family. Ralph will be forever remembered.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the staff of Auman's Inc. Funeral Home, Reiffton. A viewing will be private and for immediate family only. Graveside committal for Ralph is scheduled for Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at 10:30 AM at Forest Hills Memorial Park, 391 West Neversink Road, Reading, PA 19606, with Sheryl Manzella officiating.
