Pearl Andrew Erb

He was the husband of Lieselotte (Kuhn) Erb.

Born in Marietta, Ohio, he was a son of the late David O. and Rebecca (Holiday) Erb.

He was employed as a baker for most of his working life at St. Joseph Medical Center, Reading prior to retiring. He was also an Army veteran of the Korean War. He loved gardening and fishing

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children; Carola S. Erb of Escondido, CA., Andrew C. Erb of Reading, Michael A. Erb and wife Virginia of Reading and Monica M. Spayd and husband Kevin J. of Sinking Spring. He is also survived by his siblings; Hester McCain, Ruth Morris (husband Bradley), Bonnie Williams, Imogene Tidd, David Erb (wife, Ruth), Dale Erb (wife, Paula), John Erb (wife, Barbara and Ronald Erb (wife, Yvonne); and sisters-in law, Mrs. Jean Erb and Mrs. Beverly Erb. He was loved by many nieces and nephews. Also surviving are his 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Carrie Hallett (Jesse) Mary Lou Erb (Jacob) and Jeanette Neville (Edward); and brothers Virgil (Mary), Herbert, William (Betty) , James and Gary Erb.

Services will be held in Auman’s, Inc. Funeral Home, 390 W. Neversink Road, Reading, Pa. (Exeter Township) on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at 11:00 am. Friends and family may view on Tuesday from 10:00-11:00 am. Interment in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
