Joan M. Sabo, 83, passed away September 25, 2014 in her Douglassville residence.
Her husband, Dr. George L. Sabo, passed away August 21, 2008. Joan was born in Reading on April 12, 1931 a daughter of the late Stewart and Charlotte (Smith) Witman.
She was a member of Reading South Congregations Jehovah's Witness and was dedicated to assist in running the farm, her love for animals, especially the dogs, and her favorite cow, "Miss Heffer."
Joan is survived by her children: Roderick A. and his wife, Maria Mull of Douglassville; Jeffrey A. and his wife, Pamela Mull of Douglassville; Pamela A. Capperella of New Mexico; and George L. Sabo Jr. of Douglassville. There are 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
