Robert Cassell passed away suddenly On April 24, 2015 at the age of 31 years. He was predeceased by his grandmother, Louella Ida Cassell. Left to mourn is Robert’s spouse, Kay Maxie and their child, Shay; ex-wife Tiffany Potter and their children Trinity and Ayden; mother Lorraine (Joseph) Poitras; uncles Glenn (Jacqueline) Cassell, Shaun (Susan) Cassell, Craig (Linda) Cudmore and Doug (Astrid Van Den Broek) Cudmore; aunts Amy (Warren) Rood, Sherry (Jim) Lees and Karen (Tony) Pietrangelo; grandparents Donald (Mary) Cassell; as well as numerous cousins and friends. Born on October 27, 1983, Robert grew up in Regina, attending McDermid and Regent Park elementary schools, as well as both Cochrane High School and Robert Usher Collegiate. Robert was involved in sports, was a pitcher on his baseball team and won a Western Canada Bronze medal for Judo. Some other interests of Robert’s have included art and painting. While Robert had other jobs before and after, he was well known for his work as a cabinet maker for Cobb Cabinets.
