Philip passed away peacefully on Friday, October 5, 2018 at the age of 92 years. He was predeceased by his parents, Peter and Mary; son Wayne; grandson Ryan; sisters Annie and Veronica; brothers Adam, Joe, Martin and Leo; in-laws August and Mary Weimer; brothers- in law Philip, Max, Henry, Balzar Weimer, George Kress, Tony Baumgartner, Laverne Petrisor, Jack Runge and Robert Anwender; and sisters- in law Ida Weimer, Tillie Anwender and Dorothy Schneider.
Philip is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Margaret; Wayne’s partner Joan Sadnicki; Wayne’s children Jeff, Devin and Duane (Candace) and their family Reilly, Easton, Jovi Rose and Abbygail; Joan’s children, Randy, Stephanie, and Cynthia (Nathan) Barbour and their children Ben and Emma; son Don (Phyllis) and their family Kristie, Trevor (Kim) and their children Leighton, Adam, Lindsay (Carter) Sali and their daughters Jane and Marlee, Lesley (Jeremy ) Hinks and their daughter Ellie; son Keith (Sally) and their family Sarah (Andy) Fulwiler and their family Austin, Kaylie and Anthony, Brad (Meghan) and their sons Bennet and Leo and Pam (Jordan).
He is also survived by his sisters Magdelina, Caroline (Joseph), Barbara, Lil (Jim), Eileen (Earl); sisters- in law Helen, Louise, Leona and Connie; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the nurses at the Pasqua Hospital Emergency; and to Dr. Cuddington and the staff of 4A for their kindness, compassion and care provided to Philip as well as his family.
Visitation will be held at Victoria Avenue Funeral Home, 2080 East Victoria Avenue, Regina, SK on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, Odessa, SK on Friday, October 12, 2018 at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Odessa First Responders or the Odessa Cemetery Fund, in Odessa, Sask.
