It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the passing of our loving mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and cousin Mary Margaret Agecoutay (Lavallee). Mary passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on April 10, 2020, and we would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of the palliative care ward at the Pasqua Hospital for the care she received. She was predeceased by her grandparents Helen Lavallee and King Kequahtooway; mother Catherine Gladys Lavallee; sister Harriet (Gorgie) Lavallee; brother Kenny Lavallee; son Wesley Dean Lavallee; daughter Linda Lavallee; niece Jessica Nixon; granddaughter Brittany Tawpisin and husband Gordie Agecoutay-Johns. She leaves in loving memory her children Terry (Wanda), Kathy (Cameron), Maryann (Al) and Darren; grandchildren Rachel (Matt), Riley, Jonathan, Tyrell, Tanis, Rachel, Jason, Brianna, Joshua, Summer, Prairie and Bradley; great-grandchildren Michael, Alexei (Mia), Kaleela, Makana, Kensley, Kendri, Kenbria, Elijah, Jaxson, Sophia and Vincent; sister Bernice; special cousin Velma Lavallee; aunt Beatrice Lafromboise; uncle John F Lavallee; nieces Lisa Marie Workman, Jennifer Nixon and Carmen Lavallee; special friend Ed Martin as well as numerous cousins. Mary enjoyed playing Bingo where she made many new exceptional friends, who ensured she was able to continue doing the activities she loved after she was diagnosed. Due to the COVID 19 Pandemic the funeral arrangements will have restrictions. Flowers will be gratefully declined, but memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
