Loretta Donais, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on May 9, 2024, at the age of 57 years.
She is survived by her loving husband Laurier; children Jacqueline, Jadon, Joshua, and Jared; brother Norman Swayze; mother and father-in-law Dolores and Gaston; sisters-in-law Jan Swayze, Lynette Leibel (Brian); brothers-in-law Lyle (Sharon), Laird (Joanne); nieces Carmen (Corey), Jana (Randy); nephews Chad (Travis), Trevor (Richelle), and Ryan. Loretta is predeceased by her parents Helen and Albert Swayze; brother Dennis Swayze, and niece Natalie Swayze.
Loretta was an Educational Assistant at Balgonie Elementary School for 18 years. She loved crafting, colouring, and particularly enjoyed laminating and cutting school materials for teachers. She found solace in savoring morning coffee on her deck, having fires at the farm every weekend, and camping adventures. Known for her collection of turtles, Loretta's greatest joy was being surrounded by her family, especially when all her children gathered at the farm.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Canadian Cancer Society and Canadian Blood Services in honor of Loretta's memory.
