Joyce Mary Kozar

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joyce after a long courageous battle with cancer. She was a mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She passed away peacefully with her family by her side. Predeceased by her Husband Stan, parents Joseph and Sally Guerin (Tarr) and brother Joe. She is survived by her children Cynthia, Cassenna (Norris), Belinda (Mike), Clint and Craig (Charlene), grandchildren Kelly, Chelsey (Shane), Dustin (Alaina), Levi (Raeleen), Nathan (Mary), Carrie (Matthew), Brittanie (Sam), Brett (Kate), Ryan and Jason and 11 great grandchildren; Sister Jean (Craig) Hutton and brother Peter (Theresa) Guerin and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Joyce was born in Regina. Her life time was spent helping others. Her legacy was to be humble and she lived her life by her legacy. Memorial Service will be held June 21st, 2014 at 2:00 pm, at Victoria Funeral Home 2080 Victoria Avenue East, Regina, Sk., Pastor Sid Haugen officiating. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Joyce may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

God looked around his garden, and found an empty place;

he then looked down upon the earth, and saw your tired face.

He put his arms around you, and lifted you to rest.

God's garden must be beautiful, he always takes the best.

He knew that you were suffering; he knew you were in pain.

He knew that you would never get well on earth again.

He saw the road was getting rough, and the hills were hard to climb,

so he closed your wary eyelids, and whispered, "Peace be in thine".

It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn't go alone,

for part of us went with you, the day God called you home.

The family would like to thank RQHR EMS and the nursing staff of Unit 3B at the Pasqua Hospital for their support and care of our Mother.
