John (Lindsay) Kapp, 34 of Regina tragically passed away Dec 31, 2019. John was predeceased by his grandmother Cleme Kapp and grandparents Wilma and Oliver Miller. John is survived by his mother Brenda, brother Ed (Shaina Tranquilino), uncle Ed Miller (Irene), father Dave, brothers Mercury and Lincoln, stepmother Allison, aunt Laura Kapp (Perry Smith), and grandfather Joseph Kapp. He also leaves to mourn many friends, aunts, uncles and cousins.
John was born in Regina and attended Connaught and Lakeview Schools and graduated from Sheldon Williams Collegiate. After high school, John attended SIAST studying graphic arts and worked in the printing industry for a few years. He furthered his studies at the University of Regina achieving his Bachelor of Arts with hopes of one day obtaining a Masters degree. John also served as the editor of the U of R Carillon student newspaper. At the time of passing, he was employed at the Neil Squire Society as a Job Development Officer.
John enjoyed reading, travelling, listening to music and spending time with his family. Among his many passions were playing Warhammer and collecting Magic: The Gathering cards. He also had a strong interest in the people and politics of Cuba and Latin America. John was a great believer in social justice and would be happy to debate the issue with anyone.
John was intelligent, funny, kind and a great friend, son and brother. He will live forever in our hearts.
