I am devastated by the loss of two wonderful people.  Julie was my maid of honour and one of the best friends I've ever had.......So very sorry Ryan and Nicole.  I am at a loss to express my grief - my heart goes out to the entire family, sincere and deepest condolences.

We sincerely want to express our deepest Sympathy to John and his wife Julie. We were so blessed to see John's smiling face pop in and out of the shop every week. He would always come busting through the doors asking "how are my most favorite beautiful girls doing today?" or he would just simple go into the back and joke around with the boys. John will be sadly missed from everyone, we never knew his wife Julie but knowing John she must have been a beautiful woman. Our deepest condolences go out to all family and friends.

To the Elkerton family. We were devastated by the news of losing your parents, John and Julie. They have been our neighbours for close to 13 years and over that time we became very good friends. We will truly miss the impromptu conversations while we were working in the yard and Julie in her special way, telling John to leave the neighbours alone. They were both reliable, generous, fun loving and dedicated to their family. They spoke fondly of all of their children and grandchildren and they were very proud of them. They always had a "hello Katie" when our granddaughter was over playing in the yard. We will miss them dearly. Rest in peace dear friends.

My deepest sympathy and thoughts to all of you on this tragic loss. The suddenness and shock is difficult to comprehend. For the past 22 years we have lived side by side....they became a staple, a constant in our everyday lives. I will miss the roar of your Dad's motorcycle starting on Sunday mornings,(but only after he'd cut the grass) your mother walking by the house bag in hand with Storm (and Boo), and if I timed it right a chat at the end of the driveway. Most of all I will miss hearing Julie talking from the other side of the trees as the sound of her children's and grandchildren's laughter and splashing in the pool emanated throughout the neighbourhood. I know they gave you many cherished memories, carry them in your heart...that is where they carried you.

No words can describe the tragic loss of two such kind and vibrant people. I worked with Julie for the past five years. Julie was the brightest star on our team always a quick wit to lighten the mood and create a laugh. She had strong shoulders and a caring ear to support us all. I worked with Julie at Mars Canada. I would fly to Regina and spend the day with her. She brought energy, passion and a sharp quick sense of humor to every day. She was an absolute pleasure to interact with and she will be dearly missed. I never got the chance to meet John, but felt that I knew him from all of the wonderful stories that Julie would relay.
