Irene Beatrice Nordin

Irene Nordin, age 91, passed away Monday, August 21, 2017 at Lakeside Care Home in Wolseley with her daughters at her side. Predeceased by her husband Bill; son Jim; and brother Lyle; Irene is survived by her daughters Lois (Darryl) Stroh and their three children Melanie (Tim), Derek (Stacey), and Brad (Leanne); Cathy Shields; Carol (Brian) Cameron and their two children Sandi (Matt) and David; daughter-in-law Jean and her daughter Candice (Bryan); as well as five great-grandchildren. She Is also survived by her sister Gwen (Jack); brother Glenn (Anna); sister Phyllis and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Irene loved socializing, playing crib and cheering for the underdog in all kinds of sports and life in general. She was kid friendly and family focused. Their home was always a hub for family gatherings. Irene was always positive in her outlook on life and had a great sense of humour.
