Frank passed away peacefully with family at his side at Indian Head Union Hospital on October 9, 2014.Frand is predeceased by his parents Joseph and Katherine (nee Baumgartner), sister Georgina (in infancy), brother Ben, brothers-in-law Frank Wild and Adam Wickenheiser, nieces Anita Lindenbach, Delphine Wild and nephew Bob Moser. He is survived by Sisters Angeline and Pauline, Brother Ed (Pearl), numerous nieces and nephews and their families and uncle Joe Baumgartner (Caroline) .Frank was born at home on the family farm in the Kendal district and attended Silver Hills School in Kendal. He took over the family farm when his parents retired in 1949. He moved to Odessa in 1974 and continued farming from town until 1986 when he sold the land and retired from farming. His new career was carpentry work with Pete Zerr for many years. Frank enjoyed fishing especially the annual fishing trip to northern Saskatchewan with all of his fishing buddies. He also enjoyed visits with family and friends who were always welcome at his home. He loved to work in his shop building bird houses for which there soon was a big demand. He was an avid gardener, his gardens always produced in abundance and he was happy to share the produce with others. Frank was very proud to be part of the Odessa community and was not shy about promoting Odessa to anyone he met. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered.
