Frances Julia Walters

1931 – 2012

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Frances Walters on December 23, 2012, at the age of 81 years. She was predeceased by her parents Charles and Ruth (Burns) Emery; sisters Lola Emery, Donna Marion, and Patricia Ollenberger. She is survived by her daughter Donna (Don) Forbes, son Randy (Angie) Walters, son Marty (Karen) Walters, and son Rod Walters; sister-in-law Helen Bickel; brother-in-law Herb Walters; 8 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren; 7 step great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Fran was born July 5, 1931 in Regina. She attended school at Imperial. After raising her 4 children, Fran went to work for Simpson Sears which later changed to Sears Warehouse in Regina for 23 years until she retired in 1990. Fran was a very caring person and always had kind thoughts for everyone. She enjoyed visiting with family and friends. She will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by all who loved her. Special thanks go to the Lutheran Home for their care of our mother.
