October 28, 1926 - August 28, 2013 Eleanor Farr late of Lumsden, formerly of Lewvan, Sk. Took God's hand and entered into heaven. Waiting for her at Heaven's gate are her parents; Norman and Eleanor Chambers; granddaughter: Janine Farr; brother-in-law: Harold Farr; brother: Jim Chambers; daughter: Carol Quartly; son: Barry Farr. Mom is survived by daughters: Linda Magnusson, Julie (Rich) Morley, Lorie Farr (Darcy), daughter-in-law: Judy Farr, 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters-in-law, sister: Margaret Lackey, brother: Harold Chambers and numerous nephews, nieces and many friends. Mom's life was all about family, "her pride and joy". She enjoyed cooking, gardening, "her flowers", and work. Mom loved to feed anyone who came to her door. She greeted everyone with her illuminated smile and welcome. Everyone was invited in and asked to stay for coffee or tea and a snack. If they were in a rush, they left with a snack wrapped in a bag, with a napkin and a "twist tie" and sent on their way. The family extends heartfelt "Thank you times infinity" to ALL the staff at Lumsden Heritage Home. Each of you became part of Mom's family throughout the past 5+ years, "we must keep in touch". A Celebration of Eleanor's Life will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at Victoria Avenue Funeral Home, 2080 Victoria Avenue East, Regina, Sk. Father Abello officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of one's choice or to: Lumsden & District Heritage Home, Inc. Box 479, 10 Aspen Bay Lumsden, Sk. S0G 3C0
