Doris passed away peacefully with family by her side on Saturday, April 4, 2015 at the age of 71 years. Predeceased by her parents Clarence and Delia Thompson brothers: Wayne, Merle and sister: Sharon. Left to celebrate her life is her life partner and best friend of 37 years Shari Johnston, Doris’s children: Robert Keir, David Keir, Barbara Shuparski and Ken Keir grandchildren: Eric, Katie and Jordan her dog Presley, sisters: Marguerite Shephard and Fay Thompson, brothers: Dale, Murray, Glenn, Brian and Allan Thompson numerous nieces, nephews and friends who were all like family to Doris and all had a special place in her heart.
