Gordon passed away peacefully on November 21, 2017. Gordon was predeceased by his parents Barclay and Elizabeth Muir; infant brother James; sisters and brothers-in-laws, Helen (Stewart) Read; Elsie (Bill) Bobert; Marion Normand and Kenneth Cole. Gordon will be lovingly remembered by his sister Jean Cole; brother-in-law Roger Normand; nieces and nephews; Brenda Lynne (Dale Richardson) Read; Carman (Nancy) Read; Valerie (Greg) Cole-Sebastian; Garth (Kerry) Cole; Daryl (Brenda) Cole; Donna (Gordon) Kent; Donald (Bev Gorden) Bobert; Ray (Barb) Normand, Doug (Denise) Normand; Dianne (Patrick) Elkington and numerous grand and great-grand nieces and nephews. Gordon was born on the farm and attended school at Craven. After completing his schooling he lived and farmed with his parents and eventually took over operation of the family farm. Gordon cared about his animals and crops and was a good steward of the land. He read and researched and was a meticulous bookkeeper. Gordon especially enjoyed old time and country music and while he listened, he was likely to be seen tapping time to the beat. At age 81, Gordon left the farm and moved to Westhill Manor Personal Care Home in Regina where he was loved and cared for his last four years. Gordon lived a quiet and simple life. He was a gentleman, had a sense of humour, readily shared with others and was always thankful. A family graveside service will be held at a later date. Interment will be in Riverside Memorial Park.
