After a long illness Bernice passed away peacefully at the Pioneer Village in Regina, Saskatchewan, Saturday September 9, 2017.
She is predeceased by her daughter Sandra Smith and loving husband of 69 years Douglas John Stagg. She is survived by her sons Ron (Hilda) of Winnipeg, MB. Doug (Marg) of Regina, daughter Laurie (Trevor) of Saskatoon, SK and son-in-law Doug Smith of Melfort, SK.; grandchildren Jody (Darren), David, Kory (Erin), Krista (Jimmy), Dustin, Chad (Taylor), Raylene and Ryan (Tanya) as well as 10 great grandchildren.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers a donation in Bernice’s memory can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to all the caregivers of 3W Pioneer Village who loved and cared for Bernice like they would their own mothers. You are all angels heaven sent.
