Audrey Martha Ferguson

With saddened hearts we announce the passing of Audrey Martha Ferguson on April 18, 2016. Audrey was born on October 18, 1930 in Wolseley, SK. She was predeceased by her parents Finlay and Martha; sister, Eleanor; brother-in-law, Hugh and two nephews. She is survived by siblings, Jean Corscadden, Barry (Shirley) and Terry (Carolyn) Ferguson; brother-in-law, Art Derbyshire and numerous nephews and nieces. Audrey was very kind hearted and had a great sense of humor. She was a teacher for 35 years starting in a one room prairie school and finished her career at Balgonie Elementary School. To all her nephews and nieces she was more a grandmother than an aunt. She attended as many sporting events as she could. She taught us how to bet on horses. She enjoyed many sports especially watching the Roughriders and the Toronto Maple Leafs. Her love of playing cards will live with us forever. Rest in Peace. Funeral service will be held on Saturday April 23, 2016 at 11:00am at Victoria Avenue Funeral Home, 2080 E Victoria Avenue, Regina, SK. Lunch following the service. A private family interment will take place at a later date. Flowers gratefully declined.
